DAS 2020 is the 14th edition of the IAPR sponsored workshop focusing on system-level issues and approaches in document analysis and recognition. The workshop comprises invited speaker presentations, oral, poster, tutorial and demo sessions as well as working group discussions. Proceedings (full papers) will be published by Springer.
DAS 2020 will be hosted by Huazhong University of Science and Technology(HUST) in Wuhan, China on May 17-20, 2020. Wuhan, capital of Hubei Province in central China, is a city with both an ancient history and a triving present. As for HUST, it is a comprehensive and multi-disciplinary research university, which is among the first Universities joining the national “211 Project” and “985 Project”.
DAS 2020 will include oral presentations, posters and demonstrations of working or prototype systems. In addition, there will be two keynote speeches addressing key techniques of Document Analysis. Tutorials and competitions will be organized as well. The tutorials will be held on the day before the three-day main workshop. The competitions should be finished prior to the conference, and the results and awards will be presented at the workshop.

Reminder: The regular paper is up to 15 pages in length, which is basically the same as before — the page count difference is due purely to the different formatting for LNCS vs. IEEE.
